A woman enrolled her husband for a marathon with a 24 -hour notice after she was presumed to be completing 26.2 miles without any training.
Maisie Todd, 31, named her husband Logan for the rock marathon ‘N’ Roll in San Diego on May 31 after “continuing” as the course could end without any training.
It surprises it 24 hours before the great day of June 1, 2025, 32 -year -old logan ready to eat peanut butter sandwiches, stretch and drink a lot of water.
It ended in an impressive time of five hours of 58 minutes, touring the first 10 kilometers without rest, with Maisie of support that published regular updates of the entire experience on social media.
Logan, a software engineer, San Diego, California, said: “We are waking up at 6 am on a Saturday [with the surprise] I didn’t feel good.
“It was also exciting because I speak a great game and it was time to put my money where my mouth was.
“Running definitely is not a passion.
“I did sports in high school, but since I graduated, I have not been very active.
“I started running and jogging and I did it for about 10 kilometers and felt surprisingly good for all the time.
“I ran into a lot of people who had seen Tiktok the day before and they encouraged me.
“I knew he would end, so he only became a mental game of how he would come.”
Maisie planned the surprise in April after talking with friends about Logan registration for one of the Blues.
Using his sister Sadie Todd’s, 27, computer, requested on behalf of Logan.
“One of his stipulations was that they had to communicate 24 hours and then to complete,” he said.

Waking Logan at 6 the day before, Maisie broke the news and began preparation for the marathon.
Logan said, “I knew I had to load carbohydrates, so I went out and got a lot of things that we do not usually have as a peanut butter.
“I just ate as much as I thought I could.
“My sister -in -law has directed a marathon and put me with a nice carpet that I could take to bring my energy gels, and then we got out and got a couple of shoes that seemed to do the job for me.
“It was really, I only made a few stretches and I drank a lot of water.
“I slept about two hours of sleep [the night before].
“I was lying there by doing -and thinking about the situation in which I went in.”
Logan started at 6.45, with Maisie cheering for it.
She said, “I saw that it looked nervous and almost felt bad to sign up.
“He said” I don’t feel bad I did it myself. “
At the bottom of his seven -hour goal, Logan relieved to finish the route.
He said, “I felt a little bad because everyone had trained for months and it was like” please don’t get angry with me. “
“The goal was to reach seven and then I realized, I did the math in half and realized that I could break six if I wanted.
“I didn’t have too much excitement [at the finish line].
“My knees hurt and I focused on walking.
“It was always a fun hypothetical question to ask people and now it has been answered.
“You can finish a marathon with a 24 -hour notice.
“The next day was not good, it all hurt.
“The stairs were a problem.
“I still keep drinking a lot of liquids and stretching as much as I could.”
Maisie found that people online “did not believe it” when he shared online day videos.
She said, “Many of the comments have been supportive, but I would like to have done it before so that it did not leave the place and many people did not think it was true.
“People were starting to say” it seems to be in shape “and” it has already made a marathon before. ”
“I wish more people believe it.
“Apart from that, it has been really positive and many people followed.”
Despite its amazing achievement, Logan does not plan to make more marathons.
He said, “I didn’t even want to run.
“I think my career career started and ended Sunday.”
